Information for Sponsors and Exhibitors

Due to the Chinese New Year on Thursday, February 3, 2011 many shops and services will be closed one or two days before and/or many days after for holidays. Hence, it is critical that you make sure all shipping items be at the destination by January 31, 2011 or you may run the risk of the item being excluded.

Here are some important items for your immediate consideration.

  1. You may place one item, e.g., flyer, CD, etc. in the conference bag (additional items in the conference bag at USD $250 per item). We have around 200 delegates so 220 to 250 pieces should be fine.
  2. You are also welcome to send other materials and/or small souvenir items, e.g., pens, note pads, pins, caps, shirts, posters, etc. to the conference. These items can be placed at your designated table. We have around 200 delegates so 220 to 250 pieces should be fine.
  3. Please let us know if you plan to send us a shipment and if you are, we will need:
    1. Shipper's contact information
    2. Shipping date
    3. Package tracking number
  4. Please let us know if you plan to:
    1. Have a table (what other items needed, e.g., chair, power strip, etc.)
    2. Have a display on the table (if so, we will need more explicit instructions)
    3. Have an official representative at the Reception on Wednesday, February 9, 2011
    4. Have an official representative at the Opening Ceremony on Thursday, February 10, 2011
    5. Have an official representative at the Banquet on Friday, February 11, 2011
    6. Have an official representative at the Town Meeting on Saturday, February 12, 2011
    7. Have an official representative at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, February 12, 2011
    8. Give a brief speech at the Banquet on Friday, February 11, 2011
    9. Give a brief speech at the Town Meeting on Saturday, February 12, 2011
    10. Have an official representative at the Banquet to give out the Best Paper Award on Friday, February 11, 2011 (Microsoft only)
    11. Have an official representative at the Banquet to give out the Best Student Paper Award on Friday, February 11, 2011 (Google only)
